Umm. They’re my shoes from Japan. This is quite awkward because I did in fact buy them to wear them out of the house. Ouch.

Okay. Good for you. In future, you might do better not to make sly digs at people who make different choices to you. Just because you don’t like them or don’t agree doesn’t mean you’re superior. I just think it’s rude actually. I’ve always been told that if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all.
I never said I was superior, I’m not superior to anyone at all in any way. I know that for sure. Just sometimes I just like to say whatever I’m thinking because why not? I just commented on a pair of shoes, there are far worse people in the world.
Well perhaps you should consider the repercussions of saying “whatever you’re thinking” because a reason why not is because some people are sensitive to comments such as those. It’s not very becoming if you’re making negative comments on other people’s choices because they’re different to yours. There are far worse people in the world - you’re right. But I’m not talking about those. Anyway. I’d apologise, but I don’t feel like I’ve done anything wrong. However, I am going to leave it and disengage with this conversation now. Goodbye.
